About The Newark Arcade
With the support of a patient and loyal group of donors, Newark Development Partners (NDP) purchased the 114-year-old Historic Downtown Newark Arcade on November 22, 2019. NDP realized the importance of obtaining and revitalizing the Arcade for the betterment of Downtown Newark’s vibrancy and economic growth.
NDP’s goal is to bring Newark Arcade back to its original shine and energy. The Arcade revitalization will add enormous economic benefit, pedestrian traffic, and commerce to the Downtown. It will also provide a permanent home for the winter farmers’ market. The community icon can return to life and be a main focal point of the Downtown.
Retail
The Newark Arcade will feature a wide array of retail options. From service providers to boutiques, guests will be able to find special items for any occasion. With its varied selection of retail stores, Newark Arcade is sure to become a favorite destination for shoppers and tourists alike.
Dining
Offering unique dining experiences, Newark Arcade will feature a variety of dining options, including a tap room and various novelties. It will be the perfect spot for a night of fun and relaxation, offering something fresh to the city of Newark.
Apartments
Newark Arcade is proud to announce the introduction of nineteen loft units. All of the units will be one bedroom, with one apartment as an executive suite. It will be a living experience in the heart of the city. Renters can enjoy the convenience of being in close proximity to the Arcade’s numerous shops and restaurants.
Come Together
Newark Arcade will be the perfect place to host community events. The Arcade will offer 8,500 square feet of community space to accommodate a variety of events, from small gatherings to large functions.
In the winter months, the mall will partner with the Canal Market District to host the winter farmers’ market. Newark Arcade will be a great place to come together and create unforgettable experiences.
